VENDOR TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Vendor Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between lankastore24.lk (“we”, “our”, or “the Platform”) and you (“Vendor”, “Seller”, or “you”) who wish to sell products on our e-commerce platform at https://www.lankastore24.lk.
By registering and listing products on our site, you agree to abide by these Terms.
1. Vendor Registration & Approval
All vendors must complete a registration process and be approved by lankastore24.lk.
We may request supporting documents (e.g., business registration, NIC copy, bank details) to verify your identity and business.
We reserve the right to accept or reject any vendor without providing a reason.
2. Product Listings
Vendors are responsible for providing accurate and complete product details including descriptions, images, prices, stock levels, and warranty information.
Listings must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property or violate any Sri Lankan laws.
Misleading or false listings may result in suspension or termination.
3. Order Fulfillment & Shipping
Vendors must process and ship orders within the agreed time frame (usually 1–3 business days).
Products must be packaged securely to avoid damage in transit.
Tracking details must be provided if applicable.
Delays or repeated cancellations may result in penalties or account suspension.
4. Pricing & Commissions
The vendor sets the product price, but lankastore24.lk reserves the right to apply promotional discounts.
A 12% commission will be deducted from each successful sale.
Payment to vendors will be made on a monthly basis after deducting any applicable fees or returns.
5. Returns & Refunds
If a customer requests a return or refund due to a defect, wrong item, or damage, the vendor must comply with the platform’s return policy.
If the issue is the vendor’s fault (e.g., wrong product, poor packaging), the vendor will bear the cost.
Returned items must be collected by the vendor or courier arranged at the vendor’s expense.
6. Product Quality & Warranty
All products sold must be genuine, new, and of merchantable quality.
If a product includes a warranty, the vendor is responsible for honoring it.
Complaints regarding counterfeit or poor-quality goods will be taken seriously and may result in a permanent ban.
7. Taxes & Legal Compliance
Vendors are responsible for complying with Sri Lankan tax regulations including VAT and income tax.
Vendors agree to operate in compliance with all applicable laws of Sri Lanka.
8. Marketing & Promotions
lankastore24.lk may feature your products in ads, banners, or social media promotions.
Vendors may request to participate in promotional campaigns, subject to approval.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts without prior notice for:
Breach of any of these terms.
Repeated customer complaints.
Fraudulent or deceptive practices.
Vendors may also request to terminate their account by providing 7 days written notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
lankastore24.lk is not liable for:
Loss of profits, reputation, or data.
Delays or failures due to third-party services (payment gateways, couriers).
Disputes between vendor and customer that arise from vendor errors.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.
